Slip resistance report
Tested by RAPRA Technology
The panels were tested on the TRRL Pendulum tester for both wet and dry conditions. They have achieved average rating of 101 dry and 65 wet. Anything above 65 is classed as excellent.
The surface roughness was measured with a Surtronic 10Rz roughness meter and was found to average 106µm. The Health & Safety Executive require a surface roughness of at least 10µm in water wet conditions.
The presently accepted roughness limits for flooring in the table below are those set by the UK Slip Resistance Group for water wet low activity pedestrian areas.
| Rz Surface Roughness | Potential for Slip |
|---|---|
| Below 10 | High |
| Between 10 and 20 | Moderate |
| Above 20 and up to 30 | Low |
| Above 30 | Extremely Low |
RAPRA concluded – “From the results obtained on the Antislip sample received it would be classified as having Low potential for slip, this is substantiated by the high roughness value”.
